The Context
⭕ This is the design I created for The Red Team Analysis Society article [🇬🇧 🇫🇷] titled:
“Revisiting Uranium Supply Security”
This design is the Fourth in the Uranium Series, following “The Future of Uranium Demand – China’s Surge”.
In December 2023, twenty-two governments and the nuclear industry decided to treble nuclear energy by 2050. If they are to meet this objective, then the corresponding uranium supply must be adequate.
The article presents, first, a classical approach between the producer versus consumer countries’ vision.
Second, it exposes what may happen in terms of supply of uranium, as far as politics and geopolitics are concerned.
Third, it presents a revisited outlook for uranium reserves and resources per country, honing hypotheses for a better strategy and planning, including in terms of foreign relations, influence and future feedback impacts on domestic politics.
The Design
The deep ore, hidden in the bowels of the Earth, is uncovered and revealed. Heavy. Powerful. Rich with future promise.
It begins to chisel itself to form the army of miners who possess the same rich and raw nature of the very ore they exploit ; creating a bas-relief monument to the glory of their courage and their determination to access Nuclear fire through the sweat of their brow.
Soon, the mechanical arms of machine tools, diggers and drills, join the army of miners, digging deep into the ore to form gigantic mining chambers, Cthonian cathedrals and underground catwalks and passageways, heralding the imminent advent of the goal so sought after…
Finally, men and machines conquer the raw matter and carve out the portal which opens towards the fiery horizon of a future new world : the Promethean fire emerges beyond the branches of the nuclear logo to finally light up the world of men with its glowing power.
Summary of the Topic
🔺 Detailed comparative tables and graphs based on production capacities, needs and share of nuclear energy in electrical energy per country.
🔺 Detailed analysis of the 3 types of uranium mining companies: “Western” style, Kombinats and Juniors.
🔺 Developing a narrative and possible prospective on the issues of uranium through a new approach filter incorporating the issues and stakes of the geopolitics of the future.
