The Context
⭕ This is the design I created for The Red Team Analysis Society article [🇬🇧 🇫🇷] titled :
“The Chinese Fishing Fleet, Influence and Hunger Wars”
In the current context of war, energy & food supremacy and water resources, the seas and oceans are a crucial and strategic stake for influencing global hegemony.
What will be China’s 🇨🇳 intentions and next moves in that matter?
The Design
The ocean is transformed into a vast playing field, like an aquatic Monopoly, where the sea squares are marketable and inevitably lead the small Chinese ship to the most important objective : how to make water works in the future and how to benefit from it… fish, marine cultures, sea ore, desalination, geostrategic positioning and control of marine accesses.
After having positioned his pawns silently on almost the entire surface of the game, the Chinese Game Master is about to build an “hotel” with his colors on this crucial square in order to make anyone who passes through his territory to pay his due.
Because whoever controls Water controls Life. Will China win this Monopoly?
Summary of the Topic
🔺 Analysis of the immense Chinese fishing fleet and its incursions across a large part of the world’s seas.
🔺 Analysis of the potential Militarization of these fleets at a geostrategic level.
🔺 Reflection on large-scale Chinese maritime policy and how it plans to use the sea as a means of pressure on a global scale.
🔺 Taking into account the pollution factor in the evolution of the oceans and hypotheses on the concept of “Hunger Wars”.
