The Context
⭕ This is the design I created for The Red Team Analysis Society article [🇬🇧 🇫🇷] titled :
“From Seer to King – Succeeding through Strategic Foresight and Warning”
It presents the narrative and cognitive connections between the legend of Helenus, prophet brother of Cassandra, and the modern application of this myth on the methodology of Strategic Foresight and Early Warning.
The Design
Helenus, brother Prophet of Cassandra, is the one we come to seek when all hope is lost, because only he receives, understands and transmits the voice of the Gods, represented by the Greek text inscribed on the stone that emerges from the white Void of uncertainty about the things to come…
But Helenus’ face closes and his face is blackened by the Ashes of dead ideas. Only a few tears of gold remain, a distant memory of a time when the vision of the future was essential to understanding the Cosmos.
The wings of Victory that once girded his head sag to form the hood of mourning because no leader wants to listen to the words of Wisdom anymore and the voice of Helenus is lost in the echo of nothingness, his own people turning away from him…
However, there is someone who still listens carefully to Helenus… it is the Adversary, represented by the eye of the Lion. It symbolizes the enemy people of Helenus’ people which will finally welcome the Prophet to listen to him and honor him as Councilor of Kings.
Until Helenus himself, one day, becomes King of the enemy people of his own people, which has ignored him for too long…
Because if nobody listens to you, here and now, others will, elsewhere and later.
